Private Utility Locating

LKN Utility Locating provides private utility locating services for customer-owned underground facilities and

privately installed utility infrastructure.

Site Conditions

Locating accuracy may be affected by inaccessible areas, utility congestion, abandoned facilities, incomplete

records, reinforced surfaces, signal interference, weather conditions, or non-detectable utilities.

Excavation Responsibility

Safe excavation practices remain the responsibility of the excavator and/or property owner. Hand exposure or

potholing should be utilized where appropriate prior to mechanized excavation.

Payment Terms

Invoices are due upon receipt unless otherwise agreed to in writing.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed under the laws of the State of North Carolina.
