Private Utility Locating Services

This agreement governs professional private utility locating services performed by LKN Utility Locating LLC (“Company”)

for the client identified below. Services are performed using commercially accepted locating practices, professional-grade

locating equipment, and field procedures commonly utilized within the private utility locating industry.

Scope of Work

Services may include private utility locating, utility tracing, subsurface utility investigation, utility marking, utility mapping,

and related field documentation associated with customer-owned underground facilities.

Field Conditions & Accuracy

Underground utility locating is dependent upon site conditions, accessibility, detectable signal response, available records,

utility installation methods, and other variables outside Company control. While Company will make reasonable efforts to

identify detectable underground facilities, no guarantee is made that all underground utilities or subsurface obstructions will

be identified.

Client Responsibilities

Client remains responsible for obtaining any required public utility notifications prior to excavation activities. LKN Utility

Locating performs private utility locating services only unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Client is responsible for

maintaining safe excavation practices and preserving utility markings.

Limitation of Liability

Company’s total liability arising from services performed shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific services giving

rise to the claim. Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
